Uganda fundraising has begun!
25th April 2022We are so excited to be taking 12 students to Uganda this Summer and our fundraising has begun!
On Friday 6th May 2022, TEAM UGANDA will be taking part in a sleepover where they will experience the life of a child from Uganda. Students will have no use of mobile devises, cook their own food and sleep in school.
The following day, they will take part in the beginning of their virtual “Walk to Kampala”. Students will be taking part in a sponsored walk where they must complete a total of 667.2km collectively in 2 weeks (the total distance from Gulu to Kampala and back). The students will record their km using fitness apps such as Strava. The start of the walk will be 25km distance from Teignmouth to Exeter along the coastal path on Saturday 7th May. We will be arriving at 1pm on Exeter Quay (just in front of On The Waterfront) if you would like to congratulate the students on their arrival.
