This year, myself and my accompaniment in Performing Arts as well as students in music, dance and drama had the opportunity to visit the extraordinary town of London.

The trip to London was absolutely fantastic!

We had an incredible few days in the home of West End theatre. We were lucky enough to watch 3 amazing musicals: Heathers, Wicked and Matilda. Watching these musicals as an audience member has inspired me to pursue the subject of drama in my future career. My favourite musical was Matilda because the songs throughout made the musical atmosphere more engaging, funny and at some times heartwarming, and Matilda the Musical definitely has some toe-tappingly good tunes. As well as having the opportunity to watch some remarkable musical productions, we also had the chance to visit the Tate Modern to spend some time to focus on the artistic works of various creative artists. In addition, we also had to keep up with the London pace, rushing to get on the Tube. Thankfully, everyone stuck together, and no one got lost (phew!). Overall, this experience was so insightful and very enjoyable for the group. It was definitely worth the visit!
