Congratulations to all students who performed in our first dance showcase. The students excelled themselves performing in a diverse and dynamic range of dances that impressed the audience. Mrs Saunders choreographed a beautiful lyrical piece with our KS3 dance club who shone on stage; alongside a musical theatre replication and Jazz number. Mrs Hill, our phenomenal dance teacher, pieced the show together and led our dancers through a range of versatile pieces including our stunning year 11 dance students who performed with professionalism for their assessment. Our BTEC performing artists and pantomime cast sung their hearts out and lifted the show with their energy. 

The evening was a joy and made Coombeshead Academy proud to have such talented students representing the dance and drama department. 

Our year 10 dancers really stood out this evening, they have worked tirelessly on a variety of dance pieces. Rehearsing each week after school to ensure they perform at their best. We are so proud of you all. This evening also saw beautiful solo performances of which we were all stunned. Well done everyone!
