On Monday 11 November, all staff and students gathered for our annual service of remembrance. The service was led by Mrs Coulson who spoke of the sacrifice made by others during times of military conflict. Our guests were Mr and Mrs Kevin Adamson. Kevin is the chairman of the Royal Naval Association in Plymouth and himself saw active service in the Royal Navy. He spoke about the significance and importance of Remembrance Day for veterans. The whole school fell silent for 2 minutes and we were joined by long time supporter of the school, Mr Mike Brewer who played the Last Post. The students were an absolute credit throughout.
