Picture Perfect: Newton Abbot Students to Take Part in Pop-Up Photo Exhibition

Students from  Coombeshead Academy are putting their creative talents in the spotlight next month at an exciting pop-up photographic exhibition.

On Tuesday the 4th of February between 5pm and 8pm students from Coombeshead Academy, and other local schools including Teign School, Newton Abbot College and South Dartmoor Community College, will be displaying their photos at the Courtenay Centre.  The exhibition is free to enter and has been arranged by the Newton Abbot Photographic Club

The exhibition promises to be a vibrant display of young talent and creativity.  It’s all about encouraging the next generation of photographers and raising awareness of photography as a powerful form of art.  The event is sponsored by Coast & Country Estate Agents, the Courtenay Club and Rotary Newton Abbot. 

The CREATE Creative Arts Academy at Coombeshead Academy is home to specialist studios and teachers offering learning in an exciting range of creative courses.  CREATE offers art and design, photography, textiles, 3D design and graphics providing young people with a pathway to a successful future in diverse and rewarding arts careers.
